My career as a professional photographer began 30+ years ago with a Pentax K1000. It wasn’t too long thereafter that I opened my studio, known as Premier Photography LLC. Not only were there small to large wedding packages, I was also the contracted photographer for CMA Country Music Fest for 28 years; honored and privileged to photograph 3 sitting Presidents, prime ministers, foreign dignitaries, and various politicians; created and photographed album/CD covers for new and old well known country music artists; met and photographed many high profile celebrities known on TV, stage and many great artists from various music genres. While continuing my work in the studio, I purchased the second largest commercial photo imaging lab in Middle Tennessee.
There, I photographed and/or printed the images of commercial advertisements for multiple Fortune 500 companies across the United States. After giving all I thought I had left to give, I retired several years ago. At that point, I felt I had lost the eye for beauty and had nothing left to give my clients. A few months ago, my wife and I took a trip to California. Before leaving my wife said you’re taking your camera and are going to take some photos to see that you haven’t lost it. She was correct in saying that my love for beauty behind the lens is still there. She has said it for several years and proved her point. While traveling by vehicle across several states during the trip to California, I am so blessed she made the nearest thing to an order. I now leave home to run errands, or the state, but not without my camera. I never know where I will spot that amazing scene or that rose with only one dew drop on the tip of its bloom! Now, I am able to stop and capture beauty without worrying about that commercial client or pre-wedding photo shoots. My love of beauty and nature I hope you find captivating and just can’t live without. Please visit often as new images will be available soon. I hope you enjoy viewing my gallery as much as did capturing them. Be Blessed, Terry
